Torremolinos has some of the best chiringuitos around and is great for shopping. There is a water park and a crocodile park to keep the kids amused. Montemar and La Carihuela are accessible from the Paseo, both offering a different alternative to the central area of Torremolinos. Montemar has a number of hotels situated just off the Paseo and is popular for its cheap drinks bars and karaoke and entertainment venues. The old fishing village of La Carihuela which like Montemar, has some lively venues but has a more traditional Spanish feel. Many of the old style Spanish cottages still exist today and the area has plenty of little side streets to explore and to sample some freshly caught seafood.
